BONE LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Bone Lake Management Plan Update

Purpose

Bone Lake Management District is sponsoring a project to develop a Comprehensive Lake Management Plan for Bone Lake. The final deliverables include all data collected, agendas and minutes for planning meetings, and a lake management plan that includes methodologies, results, and management alternatives discussion with an implementation plan. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.

A detailed report of the comprehensive lake management plan developed for Bone Lake, that will be implemented over a ten year period (2015-2024). Included in this report are: public opinion surveys, public reviews and population information on the Bone Lake Management District, a detailed overview of the physical, chemical, biological, and ecological conditions of Bone Lake, the activities involved in management of Bone Lake, and the plan for implementation of future activities proposed in this report.
List of plans for keeping native plants present in the lake, reducing algae in the lake, maintaining safe navigation, protecting and maintaining the fishery, maintain and enhance the wildlife and habitat, and also includes a short brief on the Aquatic Plant Management Plan for Bone Lake.
