Purpose

To cost-share installation of manure management & barnyard runoff practices on the Norman Strebel farm for prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into, and direct livestock access to, waters of the state.

Objective

Prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into, and direct livestock access to, waters of the state.

Outcome

Completed installation of manure management and storage, barnyard runoff , and milking waste practices. In addition, the Strebel Farm is required, per Brown County ordinances, to annually submit a Nutrient Management Plan.
