Complete
The Galena River Watershed is one of five watersheds selected statewide in 1979 as an area for funding. The Galena River Watershed was selected as a priority area because water quality is severely impacted by nonpoint sources, improvement in water quality is feasible through the installation of land treatment practices, and the watershed was locally selected as a critical area. https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/nonpoint/documents/9kep/expired/GalenaRiver.pdf
