Purpose

Rush Lake, Winnebago Co. 3,070 Acres Lack of data on the system that is managed heavily

Objective

3 water quality sampling events (July 15 - Sept. 15), 1 Plant Survey (modified Point Intercept), 1 AIS Survey PI plant survey will be modified because Rush Lake is basically a deep marsh. Thick emergent plants (mostly cattail) dominate the system. Polygons will be designated in areas of open water and PI methodologies will be used within polygons. Assistance from Michelle Nault. Station ID: 10038268 Rush Lake is an ever changing system and this station may need to be modified if it is no longer accessible.
