Purpose

1) The grant funded work proposed during this contract period is completion and adoption of an update of the Summary Plan of the Water Quality Plan.
2) Staff analysis, public hearing, and associated work for 6 urban service areas amendments
3) Waubesa Wetlands Study Plan
4) Review of Fitchburg NEN Stormwater Monitoring

The last Summary Plan of the Water Quality Plan was prepared in 2004, by the Dane County Regional Planning Commission. Since the creation of the agency in 2007, the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) has completed or is near completing the following updates to the technical appendices of the Water Quality Plan, as part of our ongoing water quality management planning assistance to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR):
