TOWN OF BARNES: Established Population Control for Sand Bar & Tomahawk

Purpose

The Town of Barnes is sponsoring a three-year project to implement their approved aquatic plant management activities. Activities include: large-scale EWM herbicide control on Tomahawk and Sand Bar Lakes; herbicide concentration monitoring; DASH removal; aquatic plant monitoring; and substantial volunteer monitoring, education and outreach.. Final deliverables include: summaries and reports of each grant activity, as described in the application; submission of collected data, evaluation, and results; and examples of education and outreach materials. This scope does not supersede or negate activities described in the grant application and proposal.
