Purpose

To cost-share landowner installation of best management practices (BMPs) to remediate violations of the agricultural performance standards prompting the issuance of a Notice of Discharge for unconfined manure piles in a WQMA, direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state, and unlimited livestock access to waters of the state.

Outcome

Barnyard runoff diversion and streambank protection (via conservation easement and stream buffers) measures implemented.
