SQUASH LAKE PROTECTION & REHABILITATION DIST: Squash Lake AIS Control 2017 - 2019

Purpose

The Squash Lake P&R District is sponsoring an ACEI grant on Squash Lake, in Oneida County. This project will focus on EWM management. This project is a continuation of the EWM management project originally started by the Squash Lake Association and funded through ACEI19217. Project activities include: 1) Annual DASH and professional hand-harvesting of EWM; 2) Annual volunteer AIS harvesting and diver assistance; 3) Develop annual project report. Project deliverables include: 1) Harvested EWM; 2) Annual reports summarizing EWM management during project and future EWM management direction, AIS monitoring and AIS educational activities. Specific Conditions for this project: Annual reports need Dept review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of all annual reports, all maps, all GIS and survey data.
