FRIENDS OF JERSEY FLOWAGE: Jersey Flowage Aquatic Plant Studies Update

Purpose
Friends of Jersey Flowage, Inc is sponsoring an AEPP grant to study the Jersey Flowage, in Lincoln County. The project will focus on aquatic plant surveys and AIS monitoring. Project activities include: 1) Point-intercept (PI) aquatic plant survey; 2) Early-season and late-season AIS survey; 3) Data analysis; 4) Develop project report. Project deliverables include: 1) PI and AIS survey data; 2) AIS maps; 3) Aquatic plant vouchers; 4) Project report. Specific conditions for this project: Draft of project report needs Dept review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of project report, data from PI survey, all maps from project, all GIS data, and aquatic plant vouchers.
