Lake Metonga Association is sponsoring a LPL grant to study Lake Metonga, in Forest County. The project will focus on updating a Lake Management Plan (LMP). Project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation \2013 stakeholder survey, planning meetings (up to 2), and wrap-up meeting; 2) Water quality sampling and analysis and City of Crandon storm sewer assessment; 3) Watershed assessment and P load modeling; 4) Fisheries, Shoreline, and Coarse Woody Habitat assessment; 5) Aquatic plant surveys (PI survey, community mapping, and substrate mapping); 6) Late-season AIS survey and EWM peak biomass survey; 7) Data analysis; 8) Develop LMP.
