Pine Lake P&R District is sponsoring a LPL grant to study Pine Lake, in Forest County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) from recently collected data. Project activities include: 1) Citizen participation \2013 stakeholder survey, planning meetings and public input meetings; 2) Water quality analysis; 3) Fisheries assessment; 4) Watershed assessment/analysis; 5) Shoreland and Coarse Woody Habitat assessment/analysis; 6) Collect and synthesize existing lake data; 7) Aquatic plant survey (PI survey, community mapping and substrate mapping) analysis; 8) Develop LMP.
