Post Lakes P&R District is sponsoring a LPL grant to study Upper and Lower Post Lakes, in Langlade and Oneida County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP). Project activities include: 1) Citizen participation \2013 lake user survey and planning meetings (4); 2) Water quality sampling and analysis; 3) Fishery review and septic system survey; 4) Shoreland and Coarse Woody Habitat assessment; 5) Collect and synthesize existing lake data;6) Aquatic plant surveys (PI survey, community mapping and substrate mapping); 7) Data analysis; 8) Develop LMP.
