TOWN OF THREE LAKES: Long Lake/Eagle River Eurasian Water Milfoil Control Project

Purpose
The Town of Three Lakes is sponsoring an Aquatic Invasive Species Rapid Response grant to be completed by September 30, 2008. The project will focus on chemically treating 0.55 acres of EWM in the Eagle River above the Burnt Rollways Dam. Project activities include: 1) Pre-treatment survey conducted a week or less prior to treatment 2) Chemically treat 0.55 acres of EWM 3) Post-treatment survey between mid-July and mid-August. Project deliverables include: 1) Final report describing the findings of the pre and post treatment surveys, GPS locations, and guidance for continued control actions. Specific conditions for this project: - Final report needs Department review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) and hard copy of final report.
