The Town of Underhill proposes to conduct a Phase 1 Berry Lake appraisal and develop lake objectives. This project will include a community survey to determine perspectives, problems, needs, and population dynamics; fish survey to appraise the existing condition of the fishery; bioinventory of watershed areas especially sensitive or critical habitat areas; water quality appraisal to establish trophic condition of the lake; and objectives relative to the above appraisals will be developed and adopted via community process. Reports will be written summarizing the findings of the appraisals and community adopted objectives based on the findings for eventual inclusion into a comprehensive management plan.
