NE WISCONSIN AUDOBON SOCIETY: Berry Lake Sediment Core Study

Purpose

The Northeastern Wisconsin Audobon Society proposes to conduct a Phase 2 Berry Lake appraisal and develop lake objectives. The project will include Paleolimnological lake sediment coring analysis via contract with ISS; watershed appraisal, delineation and pollutant loading estimates; and a public I&E initiative including news releases and field events. Reports will be written to summarize the findings of the appraisals and community adopted objectives based on the findings for eventual inclusion into a comprehensive management plan. This scope is intended to summarize the more specific scope, as provided in the grant application and does not supersede the specific scope elements described with in the application.
