The Spread Eagle Chain O'Lakes Association proposes to develop a protection and management plan that takes into account findings based on studies of the lake's physical, chemical and biological conditions. Studies will include water quality, aquatic plants, watershed, land usage impact, use and maintenance of Bass Island, and fish management. It will provide self-help assistance through education in water safety and water quality monitoring. A sociological survey will be utilized. The plan will be mutually beneficial to both man and nature.
