CITY OF TWO RIVERS: Storm Water Management Planning

Purpose
To cost-share development of a storm water management plan covering the City of Two Rivers, creation of pollution prevention ordinances, provision for public participation, and analysis of the feasibility for establishing an alternative funding capacity for storm water costs.
Objective
Develop a plan to comply withch. NR 216 stormwater requlations, and improve water quality to receiving waterbodies, specifically acheive 20% Total Suspended Solids in waters aby 12/15/2009, and 40% TSS reduction by 3/10/2013.
Outcome
Based upon modeling in Stormwater Management Plan, City is currently acheiving 12.1% TSS reduction; therefore, needs to develop strategies and operations to meet TSS reductin goals. Stormwater Management Plan approved by Council on 11/3/2008.
