Return to Search
Purpose
To cost-share landowner installation of best management practices designed to enable the farm operations to remedy the discharge violation cited in the County's letter of February 23, 2007, and to comply with the agricultural performance standards and prohibitions established by the County's Manure Storage Ordinance and Subchapter II of NR 151 by establishing manure management systems which will enable the Kevin Skinner Farm to close failing/leaking manure storage systems, meet nutrient application restrictions, prevent overflow from manure storage facilities, eliminate unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas, and prevent direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
