RUSH LAKE WATERSHED RESTORATION, INC.: Rush Lake Management Plan - Phase 2

Purpose

The Rush Lake Watershed Restoration, Inc. is sponsoring an LPL grant project to conduct studies and complete a lake management plan. Specific project activities include: 1) Develop and distribute educational material; 2) Host an open house event; 3) Pursue 9-key element planning in partnership with Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance; 4) Conduct topo survey of inlets and outlet; 5) remote sensing for non-native phragmites identification / spatiality; 6) water quality sampling; 7) Collect flow data from 8 tributary locations; 8) Conduct watershed modeling for non-point loading information; 9) Write lake management plan. Project final deliverables include: 1) All data collected, stakeholder survey report; 2) Agendas and minutes for planning meetings; 3) Write lake management plan. Specific conditions: 1) Data and reports shall be provided in an electronic format; 2) This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein; Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist. 3) It is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft of the final report for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. 4) Grantee shall submit electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
