Purpose
Lake Minnesuing Sanitary District is sponsoring a rapid response project to continue monitoring newly-discovered curly-leaf pondweed population in Lake Minnesuing. This will include professional hand-harvesting to reduce the population to a manageable level. Other activities include CLP population monitoring, and PI survey to compare with previous survey.
Deliverables include: The results of the monitoring, planning, and control as described in the application. A CLP monitoring report emailed following each winter with a map and hand-harvesting strategy, and final report at the completion of the project.
Special Condition: WDNR\2019s monitoring protocols should be used and all data should be entered into SWIMS.
The specific objectives, metrics, and deliverables for the listed activities are included in the application and supporting materials, and this scope is not intended to replace or supersede those documents. If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
