FRIENDS OF LONE STONE LAKE INC: Lone Stone Lake AIS Management Plan Development

Purpose

Project Scope and Description of Deliverables Project Scope and Description of Deliverables The Friends of Lone Stone Lake (FOLS) is sponsoring a project which will focus on creating an aquatic invasive species management plan. The Project has the following goals/activities: 1) Conduct an aquatic plant point-intercept (PI) survey (following DNR protocol), early and late season AIS mapping surveys (for EWM); 2) Complete volunteer EWM monitoring; 3) Complete a watershed analysis/report; 4) Sample lake water quality; 5) Conduct a lake stakeholder social survey; 6) Conduct CBCW watercraft inspections; and 7) Develop an AIS management plan. Project deliverables include: 1) Data from water quality monitoring, aquatic plant and invasive species surveys; 2) Watershed Report; 3) CBCW data entry into SWIMS database; 3) an annual project report; 4) AIS Management Plan. Specific project conditions: WDNR Lake Biologist will be provided with an electronic copy of reports/management plan; data from water quality, aquatic plant, and AIS monitoring and surveys; all maps and GIS data from project. WDNR Lake Biologist will be invited to management plan development meetings. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the grant application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist. If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
