TOWN OF ST GERMAIN: PREV - Install Boat Landing Monitoring System at Found Lake Landing

Purpose
The Town of Saint Germain is sponsoring a project to install an ILIDS camera at the boat landing (public pier) on Found Lake in Vilas County with the following goals: Prevent the introduction of aquatic invasive species into the lake, educate boaters on best practices. Project final deliverables include: 1. Purchase and installation of ILIDS camera. 2. Written reports of activities gathered by ILIDS camera. 3. Data shared with local law enforcement when appropriate. Specific conditions for this project: 1. Grantee must enter into a recorded land use agreement with the property owner. 2. The useful life of an ILIDS unit is 6 years. 3. 200 hours of watercraft inspection time is required during the tenure of this project (being funded with grant number CBCW90221).
