Purpose
Project Scope and Description of Deliverables (CAOS-2000 Character Limit) The objective of this project is to reduce internal phosphorus loading from sediment in Half Moon Lake using buffered aluminum sulfate application in 2021 and 2022. The desired outcomes are to improve aquatic habitat for fish an increase public access and use by reducing harmful, potential toxin producing, cyanobacteria growth and promoting native aquatic plant re-establishment. Project final deliverables include: An update to the Half Moon Lake Limnological Interim Report to include current limnological data Specific project activities include: Alum application, limnological monitoring This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
