TOWN OF ARBOR VITAE: Arrowhead Lake Eurasian Water Milfoil Rapid Response Project

Purpose

The Town of Arbor Vitae is sponsoring a Rapid Response grant to be completed by June 30, 2011. The project will focus on chemically treating 2.6 acres of EWM in Arrowhead Lake. Project activities include: 1) Pre-treatment survey conducted a week or less prior to treatment; 2) Chemically treat 2.6 acres of EWM; 3) Post-treatment survey between mid-July and mid-August. Project deliverables include: 1) Final report describing the findings of the pre and post treatment surveys, GPS locations, and guidance for continued control actions. Specific conditions for this project: Final report needs Dept review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) and hard copy of final report.
