TOWN OF SCHLESWIG: Wilke Lake APM Plan Update Ph 1

Purpose

The Town of Schleswig Sanitary District # 2 proposes to update the aquatic plant management plan for Wilke Lake. Specifically, the planning process will consist of extensive public involvement (including meetings, questionnaire, and an invasive species identification training session), an aquatic plant survey, and water quality monitoring. The data collected, along with the public participation effort, will be used to complete a comprehensive aquatic plant management plan for Wilke Lake. The project elements and deliverables are specified in the grant application materials submitted to the Department dated February 1, 2009.
