Purpose

To cost-share design and installation of barnyard and manure management best management practices on the Edward Jeanquart dairy farm to protect groundwater and surface water quality and address the Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions under Subchapter II of NR 151 relating to clean water diversions, nutrient management and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
