TREMPEALEAU COUNTY: Ed Maliszewski Farms Manure Management

Purpose
To cost-share landowner installation of manure management systems to reduce contaminated discharges of sediment and nutrients from the Ed Maliszewski livestock operation into the Middle Trempealeau River watershed and to achieve full compliance with the County's Livestock Facilities Ordinance and with the state Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions contained within Subchapter II of NR 151 relating to erosion, prevention of unconfined manure piles in a water quality management area, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or manure storage into waters of the state on all lands owned and operated.
