JACKSON COUNTY: Sampson Farm Barnyard Runoff Control

Purpose
To cost-share establishment of a barnyard runoff management system to contain all the manure being generated by the cattle sited currently near the barn and silo to reduce sediment and phosphorus delivery to Woodward Creek and comply with the agricultural performance standards and prohibitions.
Outcome
A manure storage and barnyard runoff sytem, and streambank fencing were installed.
