Purpose
Project Scope and Description of Deliverables
The Butternut-Franklin Lake Association is sponsoring a project which will focus on updating aquatic plant and aquatic invasive species (AIS) information as part of their Lake Management Plan (LMP).
Project final deliverables include: 1) Data from AIS surveys, aquatic plant surveys, and zebra mussel veliger and spiny waterflea samples; and 2) a final project report.
Specific project activities include: 1) Conduct early season AIS mapping surveys (for EWM and CLP), 2) Conduct aquatic plant point-intercept (PI) surveys (following DNR protocol), and 3) Collecting samples for zebra mussel veligers in Butternut Lake and spiny waterfleas in both lakes.
Special Conditions: : WDNR Lake Biologist will be provided with an electronic copy of reports; data from aquatic plant, and AIS monitoring and surveys; all maps and GIS data from project.
This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
