TOWN OF DELAVAN: Phase II Floating Yellow Heart- Geneva Landings
Return to Search
Purpose
Phase II will complete AIRR-068-10 This project is to stop the floating yellow heart that is currently in the two stormwater detention ponds located at Geneva Landings from spreading into Geneva Lake. The project will included dewatering the ponds to dry detention cell and running the water through Geofabric bags. Both ponds will be dredged to hardpan. Two adjacent holes will be dug to bury the dredged spoils. The two ponds will be lined with a 5 year warranty on the geomembrane. The two ponds will then be refilled with water to return the detention ponds to their original state. A final report will include a brief report that documents the steps required for this project, along with before, during and after photos of the project site.
