Purpose
The Columbia Co. LWCD is sponsoring a project to update the Aquatic Plant Management (APM) Plan for Lazy Lake (Fall R Millpond).
Project final deliverables include:
1. Complete spring PI survey using WDNR approved protocol, send raw data to Regional Lakes Coordinator, and upload to SWIMS database
2. Complete summer PI survey using WDNR approved protocol, send raw data to Regional Lakes Coordinator, and upload to SWIMS database
3. Provide the meeting minutes for both public meetings and provide number of attendees to the Regional Lakes Coordinator.
4. Complete a WDNR approved Aquatic Plant Management Plan.
Specific project activities include:
1. Conduct spring PI survey
2. Conduct summer PI survey
3. Hold two public meetings (one before survey and one after the survey)
4. Complete Aquatic Plant Management Plan
Special Conditions: Any survey questions used in public meetings must be approved by WDNR social scientist. Final report and data collected shall be uploaded to SWIMS database and an electronic sent to the Regional Lakes Coordinator (arthur.watkinson@wisconsin.gov). The aquatic plant surveys must follow the WDNR protocol (PUB-SS-1068 2010).
This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist.
