Purpose
Project Scope and Description of Deliverables
The Lake Waubesa Conservation Association is sponsoring a project to create a comprehensive lake management plan.
Project final deliverables include:
1. LWCA user survey results will be shared with the Regional Lakes Coordinator and included in the final plan.
2. Existing water quality and nutrient loading data to the local catchment will be included in the final report. The report will combine new and existing erosion vulnerability analysis in the watershed. Specific examples of protection opportunities will be listed in the final plan.
3. The lake management plan will include a section that summarizes Dane County\2019s role in APM, CBCW, and will identify ways that LWCA can support AIS management efforts.
4. Analysis of the Lake Waubesa shoreline & shallows habitat using the WDNR approved protocol with be included in the plan.
5. Graphs and maps created using the WinSLAMM model, the associated inventory of runoff concerns in the watershed, and list of potential watershed improvement projects will be included in the final lake management plan.
6. All steering committee meeting minutes and participants will be documented.

Special Conditions:
Any public survey questions must be approved by WDNR Social Scientist; All final reports must be entered to the SWIMS database; CLMN efforts should not be duplicated with Dane County activities; Lake Shoreland & Shallows Habitat Monitoring Field Protocol will be used to accomplish deliverable # 4 (EGAD # 3400-2020-19).
