LAKE MINNESUING SANITARY DISTRICT: Lake Minnesuing CLP Control Project - Phase II

Purpose

Lake Minnesuing Sanitary District is sponsoring a project to map and manage CLP beds. This is the second year of a three-phase project Project final deliverables include: 1. Final Report summarizing accomplishments/progress of the grant including all CLP treatment data collected, hand removal results, maps, and outreach activities including agendas and minutes for planning meetings, and mailings. 2. Financial Payment Request with documentation of grant administration time and services, contributions, financial match, proof of payment of expenditures, and organizations providing financial support. 3. Pre-treatment PI results and maps 4. Pre-post herbicide concentration report 5. Sub-PI results 6. Early season PI results 7. Annual strategy report 8. Additional related materials generated/paid by this grant. Specific project activities include: Project includes early season AIS survey, pre-treatment sub PI survey, CLP mapping herbicide/hand-removal strategy, pre-post herbicide concentration testing, CLP treatment and appropriate permits, hand-removal of non-treated beds, 2026 whole lake native plant PI, annual report discussing previous findings, efficacy, and future strategy. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, reports, GIS-based maps, and digital images must be submitted to DNR in a format specified by the regional AIS Coordinator. If consultant provides final report, it is recommended Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
