TOWN OF BARNES: 2023 Middle and Upper Eau Claire CLP Management Planning Project

Purpose

The Town of Barnes is sponsoring a project to continue CLP management using DASH. Project final deliverables include: 1. Final Report summarizing accomplishments/progress of the grant including all CLP maps, meandering survey results, plant survey report, removal determination and planning results, report on AIS removal, CBCW data, CLMN data, outreach activities including agendas and minutes for planning meetings, and mailings. 2. Financial Payment Request with documentation of grant administration time and services, contributions, financial match, proof of expenditure payments, and organizations providing financial support. 3. CB/CW results entered in SWIMS 4. CLMN readings entered in SWIMS 5. Additional related materials generated/paid by this grant. Specific project activities include: Project includes 2023 mapping and review CLP beds, meandering survey of lake plants, determine necessity for DASH removal, PI surveys, obtain necessary permits, expanded water quality monitoring (CLMN), CBCW Program, public educ & awareness. Special Conditions: CLMN efforts should not be duplicated. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, reports, GIS-based maps, and digital images must be submitted to DNR in a format specified by the regional Lake Biologist. If consultant provides final report, it is recommended Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
