VILLAGE OF LAKE NEBAGAMON: RES - Lake Nebagamon Boat Launch Watershed Management

Purpose

The Village of Lake Nebagamon, in partnership with the Nebagamon Lake Association and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is sponsoring a project to retrofit their boat landing to substantially reduce urban runoff and restore habitat. The project will serve as a demonstration site for other high-quality waterbodies with a primary management goal of water resources protection. Specific Project activities include: boat launch construction activities including a bioinfiltration cell, shoreland habitat restoration, and pre/post monitoring. The project deliverables include final design, pre/post photos, monitoring results and analysis, and outreach summary, including example promotional materials. Specific project conditions: Lake Biologist will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of final report, photos, water quality data, all maps and other products from the project, and all GIS data. If consultant is to provide final report, it is recommended that Grantee provide DNR Lake Coordinator with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making final payment to the consultant. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein.
