Purpose
The Fish Lake Property Owners Association (FLPOA) is sponsoring a project for the installation of a Hot Water Power Sprayer Decontaminator.
Project final deliverables include: 1) Installation of hot-water power sprayer decontaminator at the Fish Lake boat launch including photos of finished product 2) Clean Boats Clean Waters (CBCW) datasheets, and statistics 3) Citizen Lake Monitoring Network (CLMN) AIS datasheets
Specific project activities include: 1) Installation of hot-water power sprayer decontaminator at the Fish Lake boat launch. 2) Monitor Fish Lake for AIS through the DNR CLMN AIS monitoring protocol 3) Conduct 200 hours of watercraft inspections annually through the CBCW program for the life of the grant.
Special Conditions: 1) All invasive species, and CBCW data will be entered into DNR\2019s SWIMS database 2) Avoid work, and ground disturbing actions per PUB-ER-683 when Blanding\2019s Turtle nesting sites are present within project area 3) WDNR AIS Biologist will be notified of any new detection of an AIS species. 4) AIS monitoring will be conducted via CLMN monitoring protocol
