Purpose
The Town of Presque Isle is sponsoring a project to study aquatic plants, look for AIS and update an APM plan on Horsehead and Armour Lakes.
Activities: 1) Conduct PI survey and AIS early detection monitoring 2) CBCW 3) Volunteer Adopt-a-shoreline monitoring 4) Data entry into SWIMS 5) Update APM Plan.
Deliverables: 1) Monitoring data 2) APM plan.
Conditions:
1) APM Plan needs Dept review and approval. 2) Point intercept surveys shall follow Recommended Baseline Monitoring of Aquatic Plants in Wisconsin: Sampling Design, Field and Laboratory Procedures, Data Entry and Analysis, and Applications, publication number PUB-SS-1068. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
