Purpose
The Inland Lakes Protection and Rehabilitation District is sponsoring a project to update their aquatic plant management plan.
Activities: 1. Initial kick off- public participation project planning; 2. Community outreach meeting; 3. Development of a public opinion survey; 4. Distribution to the general public and members of local government units.
Deliverables: 1. Completion of a public opinion / user survey with data summarization, including
use of the survey to guide recommendation within the APMP update. 2. A public meeting to present and discuss the findings of the updated APMP, all data collected as part of this project, and final updated aquatic plant management recommendations. 3. Maps documenting the most prevalent plant species, and any AIS present from point-intercept survey data collected by WDNR in 2024. All species mapped will be depicted separately. 4. Updated aquatic plant management areas and maps will be also be created.
Conditions: The survey questions will be submitted to WDNR for review and approval prior to being included with the comprehensive watershed plan's survey and made available on-line, as well as via hard copy.
This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.Related Reports
