Purpose
The Lake Lucerne Advancement Association (LLAA) is sponsoring a project which will focus on creating a water quality focused lake management plan (LMP) for Lake Lucerne.
Activities:
1) Review and analyze historical water quality data;
2) Analyze shoreline and shallows habitat survey data;
3) Analyze aquatic plant survey data;
4) Conduct two educational events to the lake stakeholders;
5) Conduct a lake user social survey;
6) Develop a LMP.
Deliverables:
1) Two educational events with the lake stakeholders;
2) A completed LMP.
Conditions:
1) Draft lake user survey questions to be reviewed and approved by DNR Social Scientist before distribution or use;
2) DNR Lake Biologist will be provided with a copy of presentations, reports and/or management plans;
3) DNR Lake Biologist will be invited to management planning meetings.
This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
