Purpose
The Silver Lake Preservation Association is sponsoring a project to create an APM Plan by gathering and analyzing historical and current ecological data, identifying threats, determine the goals and values of stakeholders, present feasible management actions, and increase the lake group's capacity to implement the management plan.
Activities: 1) Assess current aquatic plant community 2) Conduct late-season EWM Mapping Survey 3) Complete a WDNR-approved stakeholder survey, sent to all riparian property owners and SLPA members 4) Complete 2 planning committee meetings 5) Create APM plan
Deliverables: 1) Summary of density-based census of where EWM exists, allowing for comparisons with past and future surveys 2) Summary of late-season EWM Mapping Survey 3) Final report/APM plan 4) Planning meeting presentations
Conditions: 1) All monitoring shall follow DNR protocols. 2) Draft user survey questions to be reviewed and approved by DNR Social Scientist before distribution or use.
This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
