ROBERTS LAKE ASSOCIATION: Roberts Lake 2025 APM Plan Update

Purpose

The Roberts Lake Association is sponsoring a project to create the Aquatic Plant Management Plan by gathering and analyzing historical and current ecological data, identifying threats, determine the goals and values of stakeholders, present feasible management actions, and increase the lake group's capacity to implement the management plan. The RLA has conducted manual removal efforts towards EWM since first located in 2015, now aiming to develop an APM Plan consistent with current philosophies and BMPs. Activities: 1) Update the aquatic vegetation surveys 2) Create APM Plan including assessments of the AIS through a late-season EWM Mapping survey, a point-intercept survey (compare to 2015), and a floating-leaf and emergent community mapping survey 3) Complete stakeholder survey, strategic planning committee meetings, and a public comment review period. Deliverables: 1) PI files to WDNR in excel format 2) Meeting minutes from planning committee meetings 3) Final APM plan. Conditions: This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify. If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request. Also see B. Special Conditions below.
