CITY OF EAU CLAIRE: LMI - Alum Treatment of Half Moon Bay

Purpose

The City of Eau Claire is sponsoring an alum treatment project for Half Moon Lake to reduce phosphorus loading from in-lake sediments, thereby reducing algal blooms, and allowing for restoration of the lake's native aquatic plant community. Activities: Alum treatment in Half Moon Lake Deliverables: A final report documenting the alum treatment that includes monitoring and dosage data for all days. Conditions: Alum treatment shall follow conditions in DNR wastewater permit. This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
