TOWN OF ROME: RES - Walden Park Upland Restoration

Purpose
The Town of Rome is sponsoring a project to restore and protect the upland hillside adjacent Lake Camelot in Walden Park. This restoration will complement a recent addition of a kayak launch pier which promotes "quiet water" use in this section of the lake.. Activities: 1) Restore hillside to lake 2) Assist 9-key Element Plan towards water quality goals 3) Restore habitat 4) Provide Education Deliverables: 1) Complete restoration as planned and on schedule 2) Provide proper signage approved by the Department. 3) Maintain project area Conditions: 1) All necessary permits are the responsibility of the Town of Rome 2) All planting must be native genotypes This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
