ROUND LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION: Shoreland Monitoring Survey Round Lakes Sawyer County

Purpose

Round Lakes Property Owners Association is sponsoring a project to conduct a shoreland habitat survey on Round Lake and Little Round Lake to investigate what they can do to limit nutrient runoff that may exacerbate aquatic plant density (EWM). Activities: 1) Conduct a shoreland habitat survey in Round and Little Round Lake using WDNR Shoreland Habitat Monitoring Field Protocol (2020; EGAD#3400-2020-19); 2) Incorporate data into updated Round and Little Round Lake Aquatic Plant Management Plan, comparing to previous shoreline survey and highlighting potential strategies to limit nutrient runoff. Deliverables: 1) Data from shoreland habitat survey; 2) Final project report with comparison to previous survey and potential strategies to limit nutrient runoff and incorporate habitat restoration; 3) Updated shoreline data in Round and Little Round Lake Aquatic Plant Management Plan. Conditions: 1) All monitoring shall follow WDNR protocols; 2) WDNR Lake Biologist will be provided with an electronic copy of reports, data (Excel) from monitoring and surveys, and all maps and GIS datafiles from project; 3) Enter data collected into SWIMS database under the grant project number. This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify. If a consultant provides a final report, it is recommended that the Grantee provide the DNR Biologist with a draft for comment on report adequacy prior to making a final payment to the consultant. Include electronic copy of the final report along with or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
