LAKE RIPLEY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: SWE - Direct Watershed Connection

Purpose

The Lake Ripley Management District is sponsoring a project to collect data related to the inlet stream of Lake Ripley for future watershed projects. Activities: 1) Continue CLMN Monitoring; 2) Stream Monitoring at 4 sites; 3) BANCS Modeling; 4) The results will be incorporated into educational articles in two Ripples magazines and hold one public meeting specific to this grant; 5) Article in the Cambridge Newspaper. Deliverables: 1) Data will be shared via Ripples and district webpage; 2) Final Report with analysis will be provided to DNR; 3) A stream erosion memorandum detailing methodology, site assessment results, water quality sampling results and recommendations; 4) Copies of the two ripples grants and DNR will be invited to the public meeting; 5) Copy of Article will be provided to DNR. Conditions: 1) Enter data collected into SWIMS database under the grant project number. This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
