Purpose
The Lake Wissota Improvements and Protection Association is sponsoring a project to create an Aquatic Plant Management Plan.
Activities:
1) Aquatic plant survey
2) Community outreach/education
Deliverables:
1) Aquatic Plant Management Plan
2) Promotional materials
Conditions:
1) Provide DNR Biologist with draft version of the management plan for review.
2) Provide progress report with each reimbursement request.
3) Point intercept surveys shall follow Recommended Baseline Monitoring of Aquatic Plants in Wisconsin: Submit electronic data to this email address: DNRBaselineAquaticPlants@wisconsin.gov
4) Lake-wide point intercept surveys to be conducted between July 1 and August 31.
This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
