DEER LAKE CONSERVANCY INC: Deer Lake Watershed Project - Dry Creek Stream Stablization

Purpose
The Deer Lake Conservancy is sponsoring a project to reduced sediment and phosphorus loading to Deer Lake by stabilizing Dry Run Creek. The project will slow water flow, capture sediment and debris, and lower pollutant loading to Deer Lake. Activities: 1) ditch checks 2) floodplain benches 3) stream channel rerouting Deliverables: 1) Final report 2) before and after photos 3) pollutant load reduction estimates Conditions: 1) Enter into land use agreements for lands not owned by Grantee and provide copy of agreement recorded at the County Register of Deeds office. 2) Enter into land use agreements containing a 20-year operation and maintenance plan for activities conducted on properties not owned by the Grantee and provide copy of these agreements recorded at the County Register of Deeds office prior to requesting final reimbursement. 3) This scope summarizes details provided in the application and does not negate tasks and/or deliverables described therein. Data, reports, surveys, and supporting information, including photos, maps and GIS data, must be submitted to the DNR Biologist in electronic format and in any other format they specify.
