Purpose

To cost-share landowner installation of barnyard and manure management best management practices to comply with the letter of noncompliance issued October 10, 2008, with respect to the Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to clean water diversions, nutrient management, prevention of unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into surface and ground waters of the state.
