BARNES/EAU CLAIRE LAKES AREA PROPERTY OWNERS: ECO Education/Pontoon Classroom

Purpose

The Eau Claire Lakes Area Property Owners Association is sponsoring a small scale planning grant to educate Drummond 7th graders about a wide range of lake characteristics and issues including biology, chemistry, geology, and the physics of lakes. The science will be applied to human impacts on water resources and emphasize the need to protect these resources. Specific deliverables for this project include a summary report of tasks described above and examples (electronic and paper) of educational tools / curriculum developed as part of this grant. Receipts must be included for all equipment purchased as a part of this grant. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps, and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
