Rock Lake Improvement Association will purchase the Department-recommended model of dissolved oxygen and temperature meter, the Hach HQ30D meter, with a 30 meter cable, required to collect data at the bottom of Rock Lake, which is 17 meters deep. Rock Lake citizen volunteers monitor chemistry parameters 4 times per year (in addition to Secchi clarity more frequently), and will make sure these data are entered into the DNR water quality database (SWIMS).
